Formed in June 09, Here Come the Belgians is a non-elite anti-team celebrating all things cross, cobbled and Belgian.
Seeking a different experience to the traditional cycling club, its aim is to harness the energy of a vibrant internet cycling community with grass roots racing and riding based around Cyclocross and Spring Classics. There is no race programme in the style of a racing team, more a collection of individual experiences through rides and racing, in whatever location a member may be, that all can share in and contribute toward.

Belgian hits th boards

Well after many months finally passed my track accreditation so started training indoors, and did my first race last Friday which was certainly a bit more scary than my first cross race,no soft mud or grass to fall on here and no one shouts rider when they are about to pass you just feel a whoosh of air, all good fun and I am sure great training for cross not done as many cross races as I wanted this year but I did want to get this accreditation sorted so now hopefully back on it.

  1. You're braver than me Mark - chapeau! Those handling skills will come in handy on the cross course too.
