Formed in June 09, Here Come the Belgians is a non-elite anti-team celebrating all things cross, cobbled and Belgian.
Seeking a different experience to the traditional cycling club, its aim is to harness the energy of a vibrant internet cycling community with grass roots racing and riding based around Cyclocross and Spring Classics. There is no race programme in the style of a racing team, more a collection of individual experiences through rides and racing, in whatever location a member may be, that all can share in and contribute toward.

CTT Affiliation

I realise that most Belgians will be dreaming of cold muddy fields at the moment. Just wanted to let those who are interested know that I've filled in the forms and paid the fees for next year's CTT affiliation. That means we can all compete in time trials. (Dual carriageways certainly aren't my cup of tea, but sporting courses and hill climbs may have a certain appeal to some of us.)

CTT Registration

After much chasing we are now registered as a club with the CTT. This means that we can all take part in Open Time Trials as members of Here Come The Belgians. Whilst dual carriageways might not be everyones idea of a good time, I am looking forward to a good end of season bash at the hill climbs.
