Formed in June 09, Here Come the Belgians is a non-elite anti-team celebrating all things cross, cobbled and Belgian.
Seeking a different experience to the traditional cycling club, its aim is to harness the energy of a vibrant internet cycling community with grass roots racing and riding based around Cyclocross and Spring Classics. There is no race programme in the style of a racing team, more a collection of individual experiences through rides and racing, in whatever location a member may be, that all can share in and contribute toward.

Another extended welcome to new team member Simon Nurse. Currently tearing up the Cyclocross courses in South Wales whilst also being a dab hand on the race organising front...

Keep an eye out for his forays into Yorkshire around the new year (although I may have my wires crossed).

*Happy Birthday to you - it's the only bit of Welsh I know and it seemed appropriate :)

  1. Thank you Duncan. Your Cymraig (Welsh) is da iawn (very good). I'll stop now as I'm almost out of phrases (though I know a few who can help!). Subject to family schedules, I do indeed intend to race in Yorkshire over the festive period, to pop in and say hello.

Good luck to all HCtB racing this weekend. I'm hoping that the River Taff doesn't burst its banks and wash half my course into the Bristol Channel.
