Formed in June 09, Here Come the Belgians is a non-elite anti-team celebrating all things cross, cobbled and Belgian.
Seeking a different experience to the traditional cycling club, its aim is to harness the energy of a vibrant internet cycling community with grass roots racing and riding based around Cyclocross and Spring Classics. There is no race programme in the style of a racing team, more a collection of individual experiences through rides and racing, in whatever location a member may be, that all can share in and contribute toward.

Lone Belgian in Bolton

Rode the Leverhulme park cyclocross today, was unable to ride Haslingden due to work but today was good, very muddy again which slowed down what would have been a very fast circuit good turnout but the rain did not stay away for long.

  1. Well done Mark, Saturday's efforts meant a no show for Sunday at Bolton.
I went from MTB to cross and the only way to get used to the drops is to fit a set and ride them. I felt completely out of control when i first rode mine but now I am fine with them.
