Formed in June 09, Here Come the Belgians is a non-elite anti-team celebrating all things cross, cobbled and Belgian.
Seeking a different experience to the traditional cycling club, its aim is to harness the energy of a vibrant internet cycling community with grass roots racing and riding based around Cyclocross and Spring Classics. There is no race programme in the style of a racing team, more a collection of individual experiences through rides and racing, in whatever location a member may be, that all can share in and contribute toward.

THCTB

There is now a Team Here Come The Belgians Facebook group
http://www.facebook.com/groups/thctb/
in a bid to facilitate more 'day to day' communications without posting to much trivial travel/race rendezvous information on the blog and perhaps a bit more integrated into daily life than using the forum. I believe (being more a a twitter sort) that you just have to be our facebook friend to get invited. For those not sure about the whole social media thing here is my favourite take on such matters - well worth a listen (Kelly Cordes is a very funny, very cool, crazy alpinist) ;-) http://www.dirtbagdiaries.com/the_shorts_friends_in_high_places
BTW you can email the 'group' at thctb@groups.facebook.com
